While channels like social and mobile saw more growth, search remained the biggest spend overall.<\/p>\n<p>I\u2019m still working up some figures on the search growth story. It\u2019s complicated, because the IAB doesn\u2019t release an overall \u201csearch\u201d figure. Instead, it <a href=\"http:\/\/www.iab.net\/about_the_iab\/recent_press_releases\/press_release_archive\/press_release\/pr-042215\">releases<\/a> a desktop search figure that it calls \u201csearch,\u201d which for 2014 amounted to $19 billion in spend, or 38% over the overall ad spend.
