The name was registered back in 2007 and owned for a number of years by a registrant in New Hampshire. They dropped the name and it was later picked up by someone in the U.K. who recently dropped the domain.<\/p>\n<p>Now Amazon owns it, this could be the perfect name for the crowd funding platform that was hinted at by Hacked.com.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Back in January they published an article:<\/strong><\/p>\n<blockquote><p>One <a href=\"https:\/\/app.work4labs.com\/job\/standalone\/40218910\/306514249430227?from_job_alert=0&amp;from_global_source=0%29\" target=\"_blank\">listing for a senior marketing manager<\/a> asks, \u201cAre you inspired by inventors who develop and launch new products? Do you want to market the world\u2019s best end-to-end platform for startups? Do you see the opportunity to connect these entrepreneurs with Amazon\u2019s hundreds of millions of customers through creative and strategic marketing?\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Sources say this move could be connected to another recent initiative the company has been pursuing. Amazon has been attempting to build relationships with startup hardware and electronic companies.
