Jason Calacanis made a post on Namepros on Wednesday that he is looking for a broker for 20.com. The domain that Jason purchased for $75,000 years ago was auctioned on January 5, 2016. The auction did not meet the desired minimum and Jason is now looking for a broker. He asked members who they would recommend. My vote would be Media Options or Right of The Dot.
Here is the Namepros post:
I’ve been getting flooded with emails (most form hotmail, yahoo.com etc) from folks who filled out the form I put up at 20.com. I can’t make heads or tails of it all, and after speaking with a number of brokers out there it seems that there is a good case for paying one of them a $250k commission to run a process for me.
so, I’m going to select a broker in the next week and give them a couple of month to sell it.
i set the commission structure at 5% of the total sale or 10% of any amount over $3.4m (which was my last offer). that should next the person a nice chunk of change to manage all of this….
so…. who would you pick?
