GoDaddy’s initial public offering is expected to value the company at up to $2.87 billion, in a regulatory filing on Thursday the company stated it would be offering 22 million class A shares with an expected pricing of between $17 and $19 a share.
Ahead of the IPO, Go Daddy has acquired the domain name that represents its ticker on the NYSE, GDDY.com. Currently the domain redirects to Go Daddy.com. The previous registrant was based out of China.
