We found it.\r\n\r\nMaistic is distributor of the 100% absolutely natural and CO2 friendly box filling from the company Dansk Tang (Danish Seaweed).\r\n\r\nThe filling is dried Seagrass \u2013 nothing else. Seagrass (Zostera Marina) is a type of seaplant that you might know from the beach where waves lift it ashore resulting in sometimes massive piles of natures leftovers.\r\n\r\nIt\u2019s actually this exact place and product we offer you: Coast collected seagrass. Not grown. Not harvested. Not manufactured or added anything. This box filling is nature\u2019s own biowaste.\r\n\r\nThe seagrass is carefully collected very shortly after it has come to shore. After short transport it\u2019s dried, depending on the season and the weather either outside by the sun or indoors from left over energy from neighboring companies. In a simple process the dried plants are compressed and packed in large boxes from sustainably sourced paper.\r\n\r\nSeaweed and Seagrass are naturally climate friendly sea plants, even far more than trees (read more here: https:\/\/oceana.org\/blog\/seaweed-could-be-scrubbing-more-carbon-atmosphere-we-expected )\r\n\r\nBesides the beautiful brown color that will make the most products look fabulous, what will probably surprise you with this is the wonderful smell \u2013 when you open the box the smell of freshly cut grass will tingle your nose.
